![]() I'm sure this is an easy fix that I'm oblivious to. Even when I add to the word to the dictionary, it still pops up after I've saved an re-opened the doc. One maddening thing I've discovered is that when spell checking a very long document, it doesn't seem to retain the changes I've made, so that after I close the document and then re-open it, the same words and errors are once again, highlighted. ![]() Normally this inheritance isn’t a problem. I got a new PC yesterday (Win10) and am giving Word 2016 a try. When you use Word’s Track Changes to edit someone else’s document, the comment tool automatically inherits the original author’s proofing language along with spelling and grammar-check settings. ![]()
