The game uses 8-bit graphics, but don’t think that that makes it any less scary. Players must navigate a creepy area, pick up objects, and solve puzzles in order to progress. The Last Door follows the old school point-and-click formula. Chapter 2 was released in June and Chapter 3 in September. The Game Kitchen easily reached its funding goals and released the first chapter of The Last Door in March. Nearly a year ago, the studio turned to Kickstarter to fund their project, a browser-based point-and-click adventure game set in a world inspired by Edgar Allen Poe and H.P. The game is developed by The Game Kitchen, an indie studio located in Spain. All of these actions are controlled by the player. He picks up a long rope, pulls a chair beneath a beam, ties the rope to the beam, creates a noose and ends his life. A man stands in a disheveled attic, littered with old furniture and a painting of a woman. ![]()
